The Austin Ripley Society

The Austin Ripley Society is named in honor of Guest House Founder, layman Austin Ripley, himself a recovering alcoholic.

Determined to accommodate all who came for treatment, Ripley promised that no priest, brother or sister would ever be denied treatment based upon ability to pay.

Your gifts help us to keep Ripley's promise. In recent years we have provided over $1,000,000 in uncompensated care. The Austin Ripley Society exists to honor those who have included Guest House in their final plans, established endowment funds, or made significant lifetime gifts to Guest House.

Benefits of Ripley Society Membership

  • You will be invited to special Guest House events
  • You will be in included in daily Masses and prayers at Guest House
  • Your name will be listed in the Austin Ripley Society, if you wish
  • You will have the joy and peace of mind knowing that you helped to offer the gift of recovery to priests and religious who suffer from addiction
  • You will, in effect, help to give a priest or religious back to our Church. In turn, each priest or religious who returns to health and serves in parishes, schools, hospitals and missions will better the lives of Catholics and non-Catholics worldwide.
